Michael is a full-time web developer and a native of Philadelphia. His work experience enabled him to build the enitre suite of Monsters At Play sites, and his design sensibility brought the community this nut-rocking new identity. The grand Monsters At Play experiment allows him to explore his love of writing while keeping on top of his favorite hobby.

The Mad Scientist cites video game playing as his top leisure activity, and has been playing games steadily since the days of the Atari 2600 and Intellevision. During the PlayStation era, Michael spent his time exclusively with drawn-out RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics, but now he mainly busies himself with shorter action and adventure titles. He owns all three next-generation consoles, as well as an Afterburnered GameBoy Advance and the newer SP model.

When Michael isn't playing games you can catch him on the couch watching Futurama, doodling in Illustrator or posing as a real journalist at the local film festival.
